For this project we had to turn ourselves into a toy. I never used to play with many dolls expect for Bratz dolls, I thought they were a lot cooler than Barbies. This project was the most difficult for me, because it took a lot of skills that I was not familiar with to complete it. It was still fun and I enjoyed making my face, eyes and lips enlarged. Adding the highlight to my face and arms helped sell the illusion that I was made out of plastic like a doll.

Shades of Purple
For our first project we did the basic skill of the blending values. I close purple because it is my favorite color and I think this was a good first project to get used to the basic tools in Photoshop. The only time I had ever used photoshop was briefly in digital photography so this was a good way to easy back into it. I'm excited to see what other tools I'll be learning in photoshop this semester.
Restoration
This project I was able to take an old damaged photo and make it look good again. This involved the new skills with the clone stamp and the spot healing brush. This helped with fixing the photos rips and tears and replace those areas with cloning over it. The project was very tedious and involved time and patiences to make look good! Overall, I enjoyed learning the new tools which will only help the coming projects.
MeMeMe
For our second project in class we did a multiplicity shoot. The shoot involved me signing out a camera and tripod from the cage to assure that the camera quality would be still and sharp. It was a fun project and I enjoyed creating the illusion that there was 10 of me. This project taught me how to use many layers and masking them, dodging and burning was also used to make things darker and lighter so the photo seemed seamless.

All About Me & First Day of Class!
Hello! I'm Eleni Zois and this is my blog! Currently I am a sophomore at the University of Tampa. I'm from northern New Jersey where I live with my mom, dad, and my younger siblings Lia and Vasili. My nationality is Greek, which can explain the unusual name. Greece is one of my favorite places to go to, I enjoy the culture, the scenery, and seeing my family. Some other basic things about me is I love spending time with my friends whether we go out, or to the beach, or even just staying in and doing nothing. I love all different types of music, I don't think I could pick just one type that like. I like to cook and bake for fun and love to go to cycling classes at the gym. At home I work at a local hospital in the surgical services.
Over winter break I made the decision to change my major from Allied Health to Advertising and Public Relations. This change is pretty big but I'm excited to see where it could take me. I always had an interest in the two but didn't know if that was the career route I wanted to take. Starting off with Allied Health I realized I liked science but did not love it. I like the health care field and hope that one day I can use the skills I'll learn in Ad/PR to find a job there. I find an interest in the many different types of media that is used everyday and I am excited to see where this new major can take me.
I am extremely excited to start FMX210. Going through the different types of projects we will be doing in class this semester got me very excited to learn how to create different things. The only other art class I have taken here at UT was digital photography, which I enjoyed very much, and it taught me many things I hadn't known before. I have high hopes that I'll enjoy this class just as much or even more than photography.
